Each piece of pottery is made on the wheel, by my own hands. While i hand-build and sculpt, i consider those to be different mediums.

So far, i have used stoneware almost exclusively. Porcelain has just come into my world, through a generous gift. It is still too soon to see if i wind up using it in the future.

Regardless of what type of clay it's made out of, all the pottery i make is food safe, microwave safe, oven safe (if you preheat or fill the pot with food) and dishwasher safe (if you use a gel dish-soap - powders etch the glaze away).

purchasing

Each piece of pottery is one of the kind and they sell very quickly. There is a good chance if you fall in love with a piece on this website, it is no longer available. My internet store provides an easy way for you to commission a piece - pick what you want as well as the glaze/clay combination that most appeals to you. Each order will take twelve to sixteen weeks, since they are made to your specifications.
